Questions That Need Answers!!!

I was having a conversation with my uncle, and came to me with a couple questions I hope some of us can answer:

Why is anarchy considered a system of government?

Why is atheism considered form of religion?

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this! You guys stay classy!

  1. #1: some argue anarchy would initially require governance - in transition to a system without government.

#2: Some consider atheism a form of religion because it makes a definitive statement about belief which relies on faith - ie, "I believe there is no god", as opposed to taking a position like "I don't know."

Alternatively, some consider it a form of religion because it can imply a set of principles by which to organize ones life and because it bases those principles on a belief statement.

I think though that most people don't consider it a form of religion...

then again some people say that the US is extremely religious, and others say that there are very few truly religious people here. So, there is a lot of debate on the question of 'what is' religion.
